dillpicker Asparagus Fern Dub has become the default background music in my living space at night when I'm up later than I should be. It sets the mood for trying to solve a problem you don't know is there. Favorite track: Asparagus Fern Dub.

about

"I heard the sound of violence, far off" is the first physical album of prolific Montréal-based technē producer Owen Gilbride - after years of crafting his unique style of electronic 'TRX', through constant self-releases via his website world3.tk; where his extensive digital discography is available in full

This particular volume, TRX200, was recorded in early 2020, as global pandemic & lock-down hit the world. Owen, with a job lost and abundant amount of time to catch-up on his reading list, retreated in his own literary world by consuming as many books as possible to face the brooding exterior atmosphere. The result is an album with a 'novelistic quality', as he was more literature-influenced rather than musically inspired during the creation process.
